Revue Starlight Re LIVE, una continuación directa de la historia del anime, presentaba un sistema de batalla estratégico. Sin embargo, la caída del rendimiento durante los últimos cinco años y medio llevó al cierre del juego. Los factores que contribuyeron a esto incluyeron eventos repetitivos, activos reutilizados, pases de batalla costosos y desarrollos de la trama mal recibidos.
