龍が如くスタジオは、シリーズ20周年を記念した公式グッズをファンの投票で決定する取り組みを開始。ハワイを舞台にした新作『龍が如く パイレートヤクザ』の詳細と併せて、今後の記念事業についてご紹介します。
龍が如くシリーズは2025年12月の周年記念に向け準備を進めています。RGGスタジオは画期的なファン投票を実施し、ゲーム内のアイコンアイテムから公式ライセンス商品を選定します。
投票対象は全100種類に及ぶ候補品で、本格麻雀セット、高級日本酒ボトル、桐生一馬のドラゴン仮面、クラブ装飾品など忠実なゲームレプリカが揃います。投票結果を受けた商品は2年以内に生産が開始されます。
投票期間は2025年2月8日から3月21日までで、1日1回の投票が可能。上位アイテムについては専門家とのデザイン協議を経て製品化されます。
RGGスタジオは2024年12月の記念配信で周年事業を発表。横山昌義プロデューサーは20年に渡るシリーズへのファン支援に謝意を表しました。
記念第一弾として2025年2月発売の『龍が如く パイレートヤクザ in ハワイ』に続き、各種記念イベントが予定されています。具体的な内容は非公開ですが、過去の周年事業からゲームリメイクの可能性が示唆されています。
RGGスタジオは2025年2月10日、本作の推奨環境を公開。Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPUで現代的なゲーミングPCに対応し、PlayStation 4及びXbox One版では幅広い環境でのプレイを保証します。
Steam Deck認定により携帯機でもプレイ可能。SEGA公開のストーリートレーラーでは、海賊王レイモンド・ロー役のプロレスラー・サモア・ジョーがマジマの海上冒険を語ります。
