インフェルノドラゴン進化は、その戦闘効果を根本的に変化させます。元のバージョンがターゲットを切り替える際にダメージをリセットしていたのに対し、進化形態は威力を増していくダメージを維持し、最大のインパクトをもたらします。
「How to Evolve Your Dragon!」と題された新シーズンでは、インフェルノドラゴン進化が導入され、2対2リーグが復活します。プレイヤーは友人またはランダムなパートナーとチームを組んで順位を上げることができます。
