After hearing rumors of "worse men" from his past being active in Japan, Yasuke embarks on a series of quests known as Yasuke's Past, which require players to complete the Templar Hunt Objective Board. Here's a detailed guide on how and where to find every Templar target in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, starting with Kimura Kei.
How to Find the Templar Kimura Kei in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Your first clue to Kimura Kei's whereabouts comes from a ronin contact in Kii. You can find him in central Nakahechi Route at the inn in Takahara Village. If locating him proves challenging, utilize Scouts to pinpoint his exact location. Look for a building marked with green flags near a cherry blossom tree. Inside, you'll encounter a ronin dressed in Oda Clan attire. Engage him in conversation, and he will direct you to a recruiter named Kumabe Ujiie.
Where to Find Kumabe Ujiie

Kumabe Ujiie is situated in northern Kii, specifically at a cemetery in Koyasan, northeast of the Kongobuji Temple. He'll be accompanied by a group of ronin, but avoid engaging them. Approach Kumabe Ujiie and select the "I seek guidance" dialogue option. Follow him, and he will eventually disclose Kimura Kei's location.
How and Where to Assassinate Kimura Kei

Kimura Kei's Training Grounds are located in the southwest part of Kii, just north of the shore, roughly midway between Sazae Oni Shores and Nakahechi Route. Upon arrival, follow the other students to reach Kimura Kei. He will recognize Yasuke and order his students to attack. You'll find yourself surrounded by hostile ronin, with more enemies joining the fray as you advance toward Kimura Kei. Equip your highest level armor and weapons to handle the onslaught. Exploding red barrels along the path can be shot with your bow or teppo to eliminate groups of enemies efficiently.
The encounter with Kimura Kei triggers a multi-phase boss fight that cannot be resolved through stealth assassination. Equip armor with engravings that allow you to parry unblockable attacks, as Kimura Kei employs them frequently. In the first phase, he wields a standard Katana. Parry his attacks to expose vulnerabilities, then use posture attacks and abilities to break his armor. As his armor weakens, the second phase begins, where he switches to a Long Katana and standard Katana, increasing his use of unblockable attacks. Focus on dodging and striking between his attacks.
When Kimura Kei's health drops to about half, the fight moves outdoors. He unleashes powerful unblockable attacks with both Katana. Dodge frequently and maintain distance when necessary. Utilize your bow or teppo for ranged attacks, which prove effective in this stage.
Every Reward for Killing Kimura Kei in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Defeating Kimura Kei grants you 3,000 XP, some Mon, and the Templar-themed Destroyer Samurai Armor and Helmet. The armor features an engraving that reduces impact from enemy attacks, while the helmet provides Yasuke with a 10% damage boost for every 10% of his health that is missing.
How to Find the Silver Queen in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
After defeating the Shinbakufu, the Silver Queen will be added to the Templar Board, assisting the Portuguese in their raids on Tamba. Similar to Kimura Kei, you'll need to speak with various contacts before confronting her, starting with a spy.
Where to Find and Talk to The Spy

The spy, crucial for information on the Silver Queen, is located in Southeast Tamba in the Silver Lands. Upon entering the investigation area, you'll find him seated on a rug under a small structure next to a wooden cart and crates. Engage him in conversation, and he will reveal the Silver Queen's location.
Where to Meet the Silver Queen

The Silver Queen can be found in the town of Tada, just northeast of the Tada Kakurega. She will be conversing with Portuguese soldiers. Approach and talk to her, then follow her to her house where you'll share tea, only to awaken in Tada Silver Mine.
How to Escape from Tada Silver Mine

Upon waking from the drugged tea, you'll find yourself locked in a room within Tada Silver Mine. Break the door by sprinting into it. After dealing with any guards that notice you, you can either fight or sneak your way out. Sneaking is the more efficient and less time-consuming option. Head southwest out of the mine, eliminating any enemies in your path as you make your escape.
How to Locate Akechi Mitsuyoshi

The Silver Queen requires Yasuke's assistance in rescuing her brother, Akechi Mitsuyoshi, in exchange for information on Yasuke's true target. After escaping Tada Silver Mine, head north toward Kameyama Castle. If you need to restock on Ammo or Rations, visit the Kakurega just north of Senneji Temple upon entering Kameyama.
Activate Pathfinder and navigate through Kameyama Castle, eliminating any guards in your way. Inside the living quarters, you'll find a bleeding servant who will give you a key to the castle’s Tenshu.
How to Free Akechi Mitsuyoshi and Retrieve His Katana

With the key to the castle’s Tenshu in hand, enter the main castle building beneath the Viewpoint and unlock the marked door where Akechi Mitsuyoshi is held. Follow him as he escapes, using your bow or teppo to take out distant threats. After ensuring his safety, return to the castle to retrieve his Katana from Baltazar, who is surrounded by soldiers. It's best to eliminate the soldiers first for a one-on-one confrontation. Use abilities and posture attacks to break Baltazar's guard and deal significant damage.
Once Baltazar is defeated and Akechi Mitsuyoshi's Katana is retrieved, head north to Atago Shrine. There, talk to Akechi Mitsuyoshi and follow him to the Shrine to receive the location of your next target.
How to Find and Assassinate Nuno Caro

Yasuke's ultimate target, Nuno Caro, is preparing to leave Japan and can be found in Western Tamba at Takeda Castle. This castle sits atop a mountain at the end of a winding road, so activate Pathfinder for the most direct route. Takeda Castle is heavily guarded with alarm bells that can alert enemies to your presence. Since stealth is less viable for Yasuke, disable these alarms with your bow or teppo.
As you ascend, you'll encounter Nuno Caro's men. Eliminate them as you climb to reach Nuno Caro at the castle's summit, triggering a boss fight. Nuno Caro fights similarly to his soldiers, using a sword and pistol. His sword attacks consist of up to four swipes, which you can block or parry. When his pistol glows red, dodge to avoid its shot. Use Abilities to inflict high damage and create vulnerabilities, then attack in a cycle until he is defeated. Upon Nuno Caro's death, the Templar Hunt Objective Board will be completed.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available from March 20th on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
