Hybrid app. OBD2 diagnostic tool for hybrid vehicles

MotorData Hybrid is the Premier Car Software for diagnosing Toyota and Lexus hybrids. It works with OBD2 scan tools supporting OBD2, EOBD, JOBD protocols.

This software reads trouble codes, clears the Check Engine light, and evaluates the hybrid system, battery, inverter, engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, VSC, air conditioning, and other hybrid vehicle systems.

The app monitors critical high-voltage system components in real time:

• High-voltage hybrid battery cell temperatures

• Inverter, MG1, MG2 temperatures

• HV battery diagnostics (SOC and Delta SOC)

• HV battery internal resistance

• HV battery cell voltages

It also tracks real-time engine and brake control system data (e.g., speed, acceleration, RPM, temperature, pressure, oxygen sensor, fuel trims, torque, and other hybrid vehicle metrics).

The app displays various parameters as real-time graphs.

Real-time monitoring helps you respond quickly to issues, preventing costly hybrid powertrain repairs.

The diagnostic tool reads DTC codes, clears faults, and accesses Freeze Frame data. It includes a built-in list of P0xxx and P2xxx codes with detailed explanations.

Extended features require the 'Toyota (Lexus) + Hybrid' plugin (see the ‘Plugins’ section). Before purchasing, test the app for free with your car, ELM327 adapter, and device to confirm compatibility. Supported control units and parameters will display, but some values will be locked (##) until the plugin is purchased.
