Hez2: A Popular Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a classic Moroccan card game perfect for family gatherings. It's a turn-based game for 1 to 4 players, with the goal of being the first to get rid of all your cards. A player can throw a card matching either the suit or rank of the card previously played. If a player has no matching card, they must draw one from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead.

Special Cards:

• 2: If a player throws a Two, the next player must draw two cards. If that player also has a Two, they can choose to play it (forcing the next player to draw four), or draw two cards themselves. This continues until a player without a Two draws the accumulated cards.

• 7: A player who throws a Seven can change the required suit/color for the next card played.

• 10: The player who throws a Ten must play another card immediately. If the Ten was their last card, they must draw a card from the deck.

• 12: (Not applicable in two-player games) In three or four-player games, playing a Twelve skips the next player's turn.

The game ends when a player plays their last card (with some special rules for Twos and Tens), and that player wins.

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

• 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
• 10 Espadas (Syouf)
• 10 Oros (D'hab)
• 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
