These 8 Games Are Set To Leave Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games that will be departing from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games will be leaving, including titles such as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a premier online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can enjoy a vast catalog of high-quality games, play new releases on day one depending on their subscription tier, and connect with friends on console, PC, or via cloud streaming. The following games are set to be removed from the service:

Microsoft is set to unveil the second wave of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these titles are removed from the service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without the need for downloading. This feature was detailed in an Xbox Wire post, which highlighted that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own," directly on their Xbox Series X, Series S, and Xbox One consoles through cloud streaming. Previously, this functionality was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, marking this as the first time it's been extended to Xbox consoles.
