How to Add Friends & Play Together in Marvel Rivals

Mastering Friend Connections and Gameplay in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals, the thrilling 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking but also allows for team play with friends. This guide explains how to add friends and play together. Currently, cross-platform play and progression aren't supported, but the developers have confirmed future implementation.

Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

  1. Locate the Friends Icon: Upon launching the game, find the friends icon (usually a person-shaped icon) in the upper corner, near your player profile.

  2. Recent Players: Clicking the icon displays a list of recently played players. Select a player to add them to your friends list.

  3. Username Search: Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a player's username. Press Enter and add them from the search results. They must accept your friend request to appear on your list.

Playing With Friends

Once your friends list is populated:

  1. Access Friends List: Click the friends list icon (same location as before).

  2. Send an Invite: Locate the desired friend, select their username, and send a game invite.

  3. Queue Together: You'll then queue for Quick Play or Competitive matches as a team.

Console players will find their existing system-level friends automatically added to their Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
