$1,199.99 save 25% $899.99 at Alienware
The Alienware AW3225QF made waves when it was unveiled at CES 2024, and it stands out as one of Dell's premier OLED monitors. It's one of only two models that marry a 4K resolution with an OLED panel, the other being the 27" Alienware AW2725Q. The AW3225QF harnesses Samsung's QD OLED technology, which offers brighter displays than traditional OLEDs while retaining the exceptional response time, contrast ratio, and black levels that OLEDs are celebrated for. This monitor is HDR True Black 400 certified, capable of reaching up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also features a factory-calibrated 99.3% DCI-P3 color range, a 1700R curve, a blazing 240Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync certification.
On the connectivity front, the AW3225QF is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC) and a DisplayPort 1.4, all supporting 4K at up to 240Hz. Additionally, there are USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for peripherals and a USB Type-C port for charging. Dell backs this monitor with a comprehensive three-year warranty, which notably includes protection against burn-in.
It's important to note that to fully leverage a 4K monitor like this, you'll need a robust GPU. 4K resolution boasts 2.25 times more pixels than QHD, so for optimal gaming at up to 240fps, a minimum of an GeForce RTX 4070 is recommended. If your setup includes an RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4090, or RX 7900XTX, this monitor will elevate your gaming experience to new heights.
