Enter the Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell roguelike, is launching a limited Android test in China! From June 28th to July 8th, Chinese players can experience a free demo on TapTap, offering a glimpse into the Gungeon's chaotic world.
This mobile demo retains the core roguelike gameplay: unique runs, a diverse cast of quirky heroes, and challenging chambers filled with enemies. The Gungeon itself remains a sprawling, unpredictable labyrinth.
The controls and interface have been redesigned for intuitive touchscreen play, allowing for fluid dodging and rapid-fire combat. A two-player online co-op mode is also included, letting you team up with a friend to conquer the Gungeon together.
The Demo's Content:
The demo lets you explore the first two floors, battling unusual gun-toting foes and formidable bullet-hell bosses. You'll also gain access to a selection of the game's extensive arsenal, ranging from standard pistols to outlandish weapons.
This test period is crucial for gathering player feedback. The developers encourage reporting bugs, glitches, and suggestions for optimization to improve the final mobile experience. Find the TapTap page to join the Android test.
Global Release?
Currently, the test is exclusive to China, with a Chinese-language interface. While a global release date hasn't been announced, the game's popularity suggests a worldwide launch is likely in the future.
