Angry Birds is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a flurry of in-game events and exciting new projects! From November 11th to December 16th, fans can participate in special anniversary celebrations across Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds Friends, and Angry Birds Dream Blast.
Anniversary Events:
Angry Birds Friends (November 11th - 17th): "Angryversary: Nostalgia Flight" – A tournament harkening back to the classic Angry Birds gameplay, offering players a chance to revisit the series' origins.
Angry Birds 2 (November 21st - 28th): "Anniversary Hat Event" – This event focuses on hats, a key power-up element, promising a fun and challenging experience.
Angry Birds Dream Blast (December 12th - 16th): "Jigsaw Event" – Players will solve jigsaw puzzles, pop bubbles, and accompany Red on an island adventure.
Beyond the Games:
Rovio is expanding the 15th-anniversary celebration beyond the games themselves. Collaborations with independent artists have resulted in new music, digital art, and even food-themed projects. Two new comics, reminiscent of the original Angry Birds Classic Comics style, are also being released.
Furthermore, Rovio has launched Angry Birds Mystery Island: A Hatchlings Adventure, an animated series, and announced a third Angry Birds movie is in development.
