Following Rovio's acquisition by Sega, many fans feared the classic Angry Birds franchise might be neglected. However, that hasn't been the case. While Rovio has focused on bringing Sonic to mobile, they've also dedicated significant effort to keeping Angry Birds enthusiasts engaged.
Now, fans can anticipate the return of the beloved Space biome in Angry Birds 2! This limited-time event, running from October 24th to November 21st, introduces new mechanics, a fresh visual redesign, and a collaborative community objective for all players.
The shared goal is to collect as many feathers as possible. Progress will be tracked in real-time on the Angry Birds Space 2 website. Reaching key milestones unlocks exclusive rewards like in-game currency and cosmetics, culminating in a mysterious event where Red is literally blasted into space.

3...2...1... Launch!
This new space environment brings a suite of exciting gameplay features. Expect gravity systems, clever ways to manipulate it, planet-hopping mechanics, and more surprises to discover as you play.
While few truly believed Sega would let Rovio abandon Angry Birds, it's reassuring to see the series receive continued attention. Red is arguably as iconic a character as Sonic, so maintaining these classics is always a positive sign.
