At the beginning of the year, we witnessed Amazon listing the newly released 27" AOC Q27G4ZD gaming monitor, which boasts a QD-OLED display, 2560x1440 resolution, and a 240Hz refresh rate, at an unprecedented low price of $470. Although it sold out rapidly, it's now available again at an even more attractive price. This is the lowest price we've ever seen for a true OLED gaming monitor, surpassing even the deals offered during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. AOC, a renowned Taiwanese brand, is a leading global seller of gaming monitors.

The AOC Q27G4ZD is a 27-inch monitor with a 2560x1440 or QHD resolution, delivering a commendable 108ppi pixel density. With its 240Hz refresh rate, it's ideal for FPS gamers and is certified G-Sync compatible. The monitor utilizes a Samsung quantum dot OLED panel, which offers superior brightness compared to traditional OLEDs while preserving the exceptional black levels, color range, and near-instantaneous response times that OLEDs are celebrated for. It is HDR True Black 400 certified and boasts an impressive color range of 110% DCI-P3 and 148% sRGB.
In terms of connectivity, the Q27G4ZD features two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports. It also includes built-in speakers, perfect for when you're not using a headset. AOC provides a 3-year warranty with a zero bright pixel guarantee.
While we haven't personally reviewed this monitor yet, we can't compare it directly to other top gaming monitors. However, OLED technology is well-established and typically comes with a premium price tag. This deal presents a unique opportunity to purchase an OLED-equipped monitor at a budget-friendly price.
