IGN's Assassin's Creed Shadows interactive map is now available, offering a comprehensive guide to every Collectible, Activity, Main Quest, and Side Quest you'll encounter while exploring the nine provinces of feudal Japan. Unlike previous entries in the Assassin's Creed series, **AC Shadows does not automatically remove the fog of war when activating Viewpoints**. This means you'll need to **manually uncover** locations for Landmarks, Collectibles, Activities, and even Quests. Fortunately, IGN's AC Shadows interactive map is equipped with **thousands of map points** to assist you on your journey across Japan.

Collectibles: Legendary Chests, Origami Butterflies, Jizo Statues, Legendary Sumi-e, Valuable Objects, Kano Paintings, Kamon Crests, Cultural Discovery.Activities: Kofuns, Shrines, Temple Lost Pages, Kuji-kiri, Kata, Horse Archery, and Hidden Trails.Locations: Castles, Viewpoints, Kakuregas, Landmarks, and Hostile Landmarks.Services: Gear Vendors, Ornament Vendors, and Port Traders.Quests: Main Story Quests, Side Quests, and Contract Targets. Other notable map markers include Keys, Samurai Daisho locations, common resource and gear chests, and Stockpiles.To use map filters, click on the filter options found on the left-hand side of the interactive map. Here, you can freely toggle filters on and off, allowing you to customize your experience, so you're only viewing the most relevant categories for you and your playthrough.
Clicking on map icons will also bring up helpful instructions for locating items, as well as a handy checkbox to keep track of everything you have collected and completed so far. This feature ensures you stay organized and focused on your adventure through the rich landscapes of feudal Japan.
