Among Us is a social deduction multiplayer game developed by Innersloth. Set in a space-themed world, players assume the roles of either Crewmates or Impostors. Crewmates work together to complete essential tasks and keep their ship operational, while Impostors secretly sabotage the mission and eliminate Crewmates. This guide is for new players seeking to quickly grasp the game’s mechanics and improve their skills, whether playing with friends or joining public matches.
Be a Crew Member or Impostor
Among Us supports 4 to 15 players and includes multiple maps: The Skeld, Polus, MIRA HQ, The Airship, and Fungle. Players are randomly assigned one of two roles:
Crewmates: Your objective is to complete all assigned tasks and uncover the Impostors. Impostors: Focus on blending in with the team, sabotaging critical systems, and discreetly eliminating Crewmates.
The game concludes when Crewmates complete all tasks or successfully eliminate all Impostors through voting, or if Impostors eliminate enough Crewmates to gain control of the ship.

Emergency Meetings
Emergency Meetings are a core feature, letting players call impromptu discussions to share clues or suspicions about Impostors. Impostors can also use meetings to spread misinformation. To start one, go to the lobby and press the large red button in the center. This gathers all players to debate and decide whether to vote someone out. Use this time to apply deductive reasoning and assess the events that have unfolded.
You can also enjoy Among Us on a larger screen by playing on PC or Laptop with BlueStacks, using a keyboard and mouse for a more comfortable experience.
