Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been delayed, but a new release date has finally been confirmed: January 28th, 2025. This applies to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The delay, announced shortly before the original December release, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.
While the new release date is set, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Botany Manor is poised to enhance the PlayStation's puzzle game library. Its strong critical reception (an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) highlights its charming atmosphere, intricate puzzles, and engaging exploration.
January 28th will be a busy day on the PlayStation Store, with Botany Manor joining other titles like Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness. Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project following the completion of this PlayStation port.
