The game offers a high degree of customization. Players can adjust word length and difficulty to suit their preferences, choosing short puzzles for quick brain teasers or tackling the daily challenge for a fresh daily puzzle.

Catagrams is free to download from the Google Play Store. An optional "endless mode" offers unlimited puzzles, and the $9.99 Treat Package unlocks all additional content, including a winter cabin puzzle set. Importantly, half of the proceeds from purchases are donated to cat rescue organizations, currently supporting Happy Cats Haven in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
