Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert and decision-maker for the Fortnite collaboration, offered a straightforward explanation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, with Johnny Silverhand being a mandatory inclusion. This left only one remaining slot. Opting for the female version of V was a practical choice, given Johnny's gender, and a personal preference of Mills.
