Chimchar Accessories Unveiled in Pokemon TCG Pocket's Wonder Pick Event Part 2

The second part of Pokemon TCG Pocket's latest Wonder Pick event is now in full swing, running until February 21st. This exciting event brings a fresh wave of Chimchar-themed accessories and a Poke Ball avatar icon for players to collect. Additionally, there are new missions to tackle, ensuring you can grab all these fantastic new items.

If you joined the first part of the event, you'll know it's a treat for Chimchar enthusiasts. While Chimchar might not make it into my personal top 100 Pokemon, the new offerings are still appealing. You can now get your hands on a Chimchar Pokemon coin, card sleeve, and playmat, which also showcases its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape.

For those less enthusiastic about fiery primates, the Poke Ball icon might catch your eye. Personally, I find it a bit mundane, but it's a staple in every deck, making it a fitting choice for an avatar. I'll stick with my knitted Electrode for now, waiting for something more thrilling to come along.

It's Monkey Business in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The missions in this event are straightforward and achievable. Complete six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type Pokemon to finish them off. Each Wonder Pick rewards you with 100 Trade Tokens, while completing the other missions earns you varying amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With determination and a good supply of Wonder Hourglasses, you can quickly secure these rewards.

If you're late to the party, don't worry—all the goodies from the first part of the event are still up for grabs until February 21st. This includes a Chimchar backdrop and cover, as well as a Cave of Crystals backdrop. And let's not forget the promo cards: one featuring Chimchar and the other showcasing the adorable Togepi.
