This side quest, "Hush, My Darling," in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, begins not in Kuttenberg City, but in Miskowitz, a village west of the city. Get ready to put your blacksmithing skills to the test!
Completing "Hush, My Darling" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Step 1: Speak with Martha
Find Martha in the house attached to the forge in the southeastern part of Miskowitz. Ask if she needs help; she'll mention needing a blacksmith. Claim the quest by replying, "I'm a blacksmith! I'd be glad to help." If you haven't already, you can also speak to the bailiff (standing near Martha) about Matthew, a member of the Dry Devil's gang.
Step 2: Craft Horseshoes
Screenshot by The EscapistYou may already possess the necessary materials: two Farmer's Horseshoes. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and craft them at the forge. Return the horseshoes to Martha.
Step 3: Find Victoria
Screenshot by The EscapistMartha requests you deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who lives south of the forge. Upon entering her house (the first door on the left), you'll discover blood. Inspect the bloodstain when prompted. Inform Martha of your finding. She'll suggest searching Sigismund's camp.
Step 4: Sigismund’s Camp
Screenshot by The EscapistSigismund's camp lies south of Opatowitz. (If you're still searching for Matthew, he might be on the path to the camp.) Question the blacksmith in the camp about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who showed interest in her, currently ill in the infirmary tent.
Screenshot by The EscapistBlack requires medicine before speaking. Give him a Digestive Potion (craft one if needed). Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect. He'll reveal Victoria may have gone east into the woods.
Find Victoria at the quest marker on your map. Converse with her; dialogue choices have no impact on future events. However, if you made Black promise to look after Victoria, relaying that message offers her some solace.
Completing this conversation concludes "Hush, My Darling." Continue with main quests or other side quests, such as "In Vino Veritas."
