Conan the Barbarian Gameplay Trailer Released for Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 has treated fans to back-to-back video releases, building excitement for the game's future. Just yesterday, an esports trailer featuring a glimpse of the T-1000 teased fans, yet the iconic Terminator won't be the next character to join the fray. Instead, next week brings the arrival of Conan the Barbarian, available first to those with the premium edition of the game. Today, the MK1 team unveiled a gameplay trailer showcasing this legendary figure.

Conan emerges as a classic Big-Body brute within the game, likely delivering hefty damage with his powerful attacks. Though his agility and speed might not match the nimbleness of some opponents, his sword's extended reach could compensate for this. It will be intriguing to watch how Conan fares against formidable foes like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander.

While Conan bears the striking resemblance of Arnold Schwarzenegger, his fatality might not leave players as awestruck as some others in MK1. The move involves drowning an opponent in a pool of acid, which lacks the flair seen in other fatalities. However, Mortal Kombat is not just about the finishing move; Conan's gameplay could still offer a thrilling experience for players.

Premium edition holders can dive into the action with Conan next Tuesday, while others will need to wait until January 28 to try him out.
