This week, the official HP store is rolling out two incredible deals on the HP Omen Transcend laptops, enhanced by an exclusive 20% off coupon code "**DUO20**" that applies to select Omen gaming systems. You can grab the Omen Transcend 16 RTX 4070 gaming laptop for just $1,399.99 after applying the coupon "**DUO20**", and the Omen Transcend 14 OLED RTX 4070 gaming laptop for $1,559.99 with the same coupon. The Omen Transcend represents HP's latest and greatest in gaming laptops, designed to be lighter and thinner than the standard Omen series, with a starting weight of only 3.6lbs. These laptops boast superior build quality and materials, including a premium all-metal aluminum chassis and a Corning Gorilla Glass display. Some models even feature a stunning OLED panel, making the Omen Transcend an ideal choice for gamers seeking a slim, portable laptop that doesn't compromise on gaming performance.

This HP Omen Transcend 16" gaming laptop features a 16" 2560x1600 IPS display, an Intel Core i7-14700HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core i7-14700HX is a robust 20-core (28-thread) processor that can reach a max clock speed of 5.5GHz. Coupled with an RTX 4070 GPU at a 130W TGP, this laptop is capable of running virtually any game at 60fps on its native 1600p resolution. For those prioritizing gaming performance, this model is the better choice over the 14" model below, which, despite having the same GPU, has a lower TGP to conserve power and reduce heat, affecting its performance.

This HP Omen Transcend 14" gaming laptop comes with a breathtaking 14" 2880x1800 OLED display, an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, 32GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 9 185H is a power-efficient, low-voltage Meteor Lake CPU that won't bottleneck your gaming experience. Although the RTX 4070 GPU is a significant upgrade from the RTX 4060, its TGP is reduced to 80W to enhance battery life and reduce power consumption. Given the high 2.8K resolution of the display, I recommend lowering the resolution to 1080p and using DLSS to achieve a steady 60fps in the most demanding games. At its current price, you won't find another sub-4lb laptop with such impressive gaming capabilities.
