Critical Role Pauses Campaign 3 Finale Amidst LA Wildfires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the recent episode ending on a significant cliffhanger. The exact number of remaining episodes is unknown, but the end of this campaign is imminent, potentially paving the way for a new campaign using the Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th stream cancellation directly resulted from the wildfires. Several cast and crew members were personally affected. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray were forced to evacuate, while Dani Carr was caught in the path of the fires but is safe. Sadly, producer Kyle Shire lost his home and belongings, though he and his pets escaped unharmed. Other cast members have shared their relief and safety updates on social media.
