Dead Cells\' final two updates delayed, but will release early next year

Dead Cells Mobile's final free updates delayed, arriving February 18th, 2025

The final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed, but now have a confirmed release date: February 18th, 2025. This news comes from developer Playdigious.

Both updates, already released on console and PC, introduce significant new content. "Clean Cut" features:

• Two new weapons: Sewing Scissors (Survival) and Giant Comb (Brutality).
• A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, allowing customization of your character's head.
• Additional content.

"The End is Near" adds:

• New enemies: Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer.
• New skills and colorless mutations, including Demonic Strength (30% damage boost when cursed, plus 1% per curse stack).

Playdigious has consistently provided substantial free content to Dead Cells. While the end of these free updates has drawn some criticism, the developer deserves recognition for their commitment.

The updates will launch simultaneously on Android and iOS on February 18th, 2025. New players are encouraged to consult a Dead Cells weapon tier list to prepare for the game's challenging combat.
