During the pre-alpha test held from July 11 to 15, the developers identified several critical issues that impacted gameplay for a limited number of participants. As a result, they made the tough decision to postpone the July Alpha test to focus on resolving these issues and ensuring "the best possible experience" for players.
Originally, Delta Force was set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no specified end date. Fans could attempt to gain access through the official website by completing player surveys, requesting access on the official Steam page, or watching content creators on Twitch.tv to receive Steam keys via Twitch Drops.
A pre-alpha test ran from July 11 to 15, serving as a stress test for the developers and allowing a select few players early access. Applying through all available channels increased the chances of early entry.
The Alpha Test was exclusively available on PC, either through the game's official client or via Steam. Note that access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not a feature of the alpha test.
