Digimon’s New Mobile TCG Digimon Alysion Is In Development
During the DIGIMON CON 2025 Livestream on March 20, Bandai Namco announced the development of Digimon Alysion, a new mobile TCG aimed at expanding the franchise's reach in the digital gaming sphere. Inspired by the success of mobile card games like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, Digimon Alysion is set to offer fans a free-to-play experience where they can collect cards featuring various Digimon and franchise characters, construct their decks, and engage in battles with other players.
What sets Digimon Alysion apart is its proposed inclusion of a comprehensive story mode, enhancing the gaming experience beyond traditional and competitive play. A new trailer introduced an all-female cast speculated to be part of this story mode, including new characters Kanata Hondo, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh, alongside a new Digimon, Gemmon.

While an official release date for Digimon Alysion has not been disclosed, the presentation hinted at an upcoming closed beta test, with more details to follow.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger More Details Revealed

In addition to Digimon Alysion, DIGIMON CON 2025 shed light on Digimon Story: Time Stranger. Hara also unveiled the game's narrative and main characters. Players can choose between protagonists Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki, who are secret agents for the organization ADAMAS, tasked with uncovering threats to humans and Digimon.
