Digital Imperial Miners Lands On Android

Portal Games Digital brings the popular board game, Imperial Miners, to Android! This digital card game challenges you to build the most efficient mine, strategically placing cards to create a thriving subterranean empire. Already a hit on other platforms, Imperial Miners joins Portal Games Digital's Android library alongside Neuroshima Convoy, Imperial Settlers: Roll & Write, and Tides of Time.

Designed by Tim Armstrong (known for Arcana Rising and Orbis) and illustrated by Hanna Kuik (whose credits include Batman: Everybody Lies and Dune: House Secrets), Imperial Miners offers a unique gameplay experience.

Gameplay Overview:

Players manage an underground excavation, digging deeper to collect Crystals and Carts, earning Victory Points. The clever card-playing system activates effects and triggers cards above, with six factions offering diverse strategic combinations. Ten rounds of play, each introducing a new Event (some beneficial, some challenging), keep the game dynamic. Three randomly selected Progress boards from a set of six add further strategic depth, ensuring high replayability.

Worth the Download?

Imperial Miners is a well-executed digital adaptation of the original board game, offering a compelling engine-building experience. Priced at $4.99 on the Google Play Store, it's a worthwhile purchase for fans of strategy card games. Check it out!
