Donkey Kong Bananza is available in both physical and digital formats, with no special editions announced. Your only decision is choosing between a physical disc or a digital download.
Nintendo is introducing a new $79.99 price point for select Switch 2 titles, such as Mario Kart World, and some upgraded original Switch games like Super Mario Party Jamboree. However, Donkey Kong Bananza maintains a more affordable $69.99 MSRP. While this is $10 more than most original Switch games, it's still a welcome relief compared to the higher tier.
Donkey Kong Bananza marks the first new 3D Donkey Kong game since the 1999 classic, Donkey Kong 64. A standout feature is Donkey Kong's new digging ability, allowing him to pound and smash his way through the ground or cliff sides. The game promises a wealth of underground secrets and treasures to discover.
Although much of the gameplay takes place underground, players will also explore a variety of surface environments, including forests, canyons, lagoons, and frozen tundras.
