Donkey Kong Bananza is available in both physical and digital formats, with no special editions announced. Your only decision is choosing between a physical disc or a digital download.
Nintendo is introducing a new $79.99 price point for select Switch 2 titles, such as Mario Kart World, and some upgraded original Switch games like Super Mario Party Jamboree. However, Donkey Kong Bananza maintains a more affordable $69.99 MSRP. While this is $10 more than most original Switch games, it's still a welcome relief compared to the higher tier.
Donkey Kong Bananza marks the first new 3D Donkey Kong game since the 1999 classic, Donkey Kong 64. A standout feature is Donkey Kong's new digging ability, allowing him to pound and smash his way through the ground or cliff sides. Although much of the gameplay takes place underground, players will also explore a variety of surface environments, including forests, canyons, lagoons, and frozen tundras.
