Netflix is developing a live-action Dungeons & Dragons series based on the Forgotten Realms setting, according to Deadline. The project, one of Netflix's largest fantasy TV investments, will be helmed by Shawn Levy (Deadpool, Wolverine) with Drew Crevello (WeCrashed) as writer and showrunner. The series is currently in development, and its success could potentially launch a larger D&D universe on the platform. While negotiations were lengthy, the deal is finalized. Netflix and Hasbro have not yet commented publicly.
