Epic Games Store Lands on Mobile with 20 New Games and a Free Game Program

Epic Games has finally launched its mobile store, bringing a wave of excitement to Android users worldwide. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Epic is showering players with incredible rewards, free games, and more.

What Games Can You Play on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic is highlighting some major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. That's right, Fall Guys is now mobile-friendly and free to download from the Epic Games Store.

Downloading the Epic Games Store app and any of these games unlocks exclusive in-game challenges. Complete them to earn exciting cosmetics, including a full Fortnite outfit (complete with back bling, pickaxe, and wrap) and a brand-new Fall Guys bean costume. There are additional rewards too, such as a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. These quests are only available on mobile.

Beyond the Big Three

The mobile Epic Games Store isn't just about the big names; nearly 20 third-party games from various developers have joined the platform. Epic has also introduced its Free Games program to mobile, starting with Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, available for free on Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app until February 20th.

This isn't the only Playdigious title available; Shapez and Evoland 2 are also accessible. Cultist Simulator is planned for release in the coming weeks. Bloons TD 6 is also on the horizon. While currently offering free games monthly, Epic aims to expand to a weekly schedule later this year.

Despite challenges posed by Apple and Google regarding third-party app stores, Epic's initiative expands gaming accessibility. What are your thoughts? Share your comments below.
