Feb 25,2025 Author: Natalie

Marvel Studios unveils the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, promising a major superhero spectacle in 2025. The trailer showcases Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing, alongside the formidable villain, Galactus. The film's 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic is prominently featured, with a tantalizing preview of a New York City showdown.

The trailer offers a glimpse into Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, and features H.E.R.B.I.E., the team's robot, seemingly assisting with culinary endeavors. Sue Storm's Invisible Woman abilities and Johnny Storm's Human Torch powers are briefly shown in action, though Reed Richards' elastic powers remain unseen. A fleeting appearance hints at John Malkovich's rumored role as Ivan Kragoff, the Red Ghost.

The trailer's launch event at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, included a meet-and-greet with stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Set for release on July 25, 2025, the film stars Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, alongside Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, with Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige producing.
