《最终幻想XVI》的PC版售价为49.99美元，完整版售价为69.99美元。完整版包含游戏的两个故事扩展包：《陨落的回声》和《涨潮》。为了在游戏发售前吊足玩家胃口，现在已经可以玩到试玩版了。试玩版包含游戏序章和一个专注于战斗的“埃伊科尼克挑战”模式。试玩版的进度可以继承到完整游戏中。
除此之外，FFXVI总监高井宏彰在接受Rock Paper Shotgun采访时表示，为了游戏的PC发行，“我们将帧率上限提高到240fps，并且您可以选择各种升级技术，例如NVIDIA DLSS3、AMD FSR和Intel XeSS。”
