Fortnite Reloaded! Classic Guns and Maps Resurface

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode throws 40 players into a smaller, nostalgia-filled map packed with iconic locations from past seasons. This fast-paced mode offers a unique twist on classic Battle Royale and Zero Build gameplay.

What Makes Reload Mode Different?

Reload mode emphasizes squad survival. A full squad wipe means immediate elimination; no reboots allowed. The mode features a condensed island including fan-favorite spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Drivable vehicles are absent, but players will find a diverse range of unvaulted weapons, including the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns remain a factor. Rebooted players return with a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build modes). A dynamic Reboot Timer, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, adds pressure. Eliminating enemies reduces this timer, allowing for quicker revivals.

Elimination and Strategy

Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build modes), creating intense resource scavenging. This strategic element keeps the action frenetic.

Rewards and Challenges

Reload mode also introduces engaging intro quests offering substantial XP rewards. Completing three quests unlocks the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six unlocks the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine grants the NaNa Bath Back Bling. A Victory Royale earns players The Rezzbrella Glider.
