Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty blast of new content! This winter update introduces Koda, a new character with unique abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.

Koda, an arctic native, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This ability allows him to spot enemies hidden behind cover (unless they're crouching or prone) and highlights enemy locations during parachute deployment.

Frosty Tracks, icy rails appearing in Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, are a major addition. These tracks let players dash across the map while shooting, turning, or using throwables. Collecting coins from special machines along the tracks rewards players with 100 FF coins.

Aurora Events further enhance the winter experience. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad offers aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these items completes event quests, providing buffs for the entire team.
