Version 5.4 of *Genshin Impact* brings five new quality-of-life enhancements that players can look forward to. Four of these updates focus on streamlining character upgrades, while the fifth improves the experience within the Serenitea Pot.

The first significant update in *Genshin Impact* 5.4 is the enhancement of the Character Training Guide. This feature simplifies the process of building new characters by automatically calculating the necessary resources for their upgrades. Players can customize the guide to suit their needs; for instance, if you're not planning to level a character to 90, you can adjust the settings to show only the materials needed to reach level 70.
The updated guide goes a step further by marking the locations of the required materials on the world map. After selecting a character for upgrade, the game sets a reminder for when you can farm these materials, making the process even more convenient.

A smaller but handy quality-of-life improvement in *Genshin Impact* 5.4 is the Crafting Table Quick Teleport feature. When looking at Character Development Items, clicking on the 'Craftable Amount' option under an item's description not only shows how many you can craft but also allows you to teleport directly to a nearby crafting table.

The *Genshin Impact* 5.4 update also revamps the character list and filter system. Now, when upgrading a character, there's no need to sift through multiple pages. For example, if you're upgrading a Cryo character's talents, a new filter option lets you display all your Cryo units directly within the talent section.
PC players using a keyboard and mouse will find an additional filter in the center of the screen, accessible while scrolling through the character list. This filter is based on elements, enhancing the navigation experience.

In addition to the character menu enhancements, *Genshin Impact* 5.4 improves the weapon filter by allowing players to include secondary attributes. The game also provides weapon attribute recommendations for each character, which is particularly helpful for newcomers navigating character stats.
The update introduces an auto-add feature for the weapon enhancement screen, including the Refinement screen, where players can increase a weapon's Refinement Level. Note, however, that higher-rarity weapons may need to be unlocked before they can be added.
