Genshin Impact: Beetle Bowl Blitz in Shuyu's Event

Feb 10,2025 Author: Aaron

Master the Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl in Genshin Impact 5.3! This guide provides a straightforward walkthrough of this limited-time event, ensuring you conquer all five beetle battles with ease.

Event Requirements:

To participate, you'll need:

  • Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
  • Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. Completing Xianyun's Story Quest, "Grus Serena Chapter," provides helpful backstory, though it's not mandatory.

Gameplay Overview:

The event pits your Onikabuto beetle against various enemies within a Teapot simulation on Mt. Aocang. Controls are simple: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Stronger attacks, like Piercing Strikes (hold attack button), are particularly stamina-intensive.

Battle Strategies:

Here's a breakdown of each stage's opponent and effective tactics:

  1. Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated head strikes are effective. Dodge ground markings indicating attacks.
  2. Torch-Wielding Berserker (Hilichurl Berserker): Target the head; the Pyro Slime it carries is also a vulnerable point, especially during its throw animation.
  3. Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its spellcasting, then unleash a flurry of attacks. Dodge its fireballs and flame pillars.
  4. Cryo Abyss Mage: Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
  5. Stonehide Lawachurl: Rapid attacks are crucial. Watch out for its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for maximum damage.
