GTA 6 Trailer Features New Soundtrack

Rockstar has finally unveiled the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, leaving fans with one burning question: which song soundtracks the latest GTA 6 preview?

This two-and-a-half-minute showcase highlights the action and romance of Vice City, while reminding viewers that Rockstar always packs its soundtracks with incredible music. Staying true to form, GTA 6’s second trailer features “Hot Together” by The Pointer Sisters. Another '80s hit that doesn't get much airplay in 2025, it perfectly sets the tone for the next open-world sandbox adventure from the Grand Theft Auto team.

“Hot Together” is the title track from the California trio’s 1986 pop R&B album, running four minutes and 13 seconds long. Beyond being a sultry dance track unmistakably rooted in the '80s, “Hot Together” already feels perfectly suited to this reimagined Vice City. While it's not currently among The Pointer Sisters’ top 10 most popular songs on Spotify, that's likely to change throughout the day.

GTA 6 was officially revealed with its debut trailer in December 2023. That dreamy first look at Rockstar’s new world was accompanied by Florida-born rock legend Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road.” Alongside a rapid surge in the song's popularity, the footage sparked numerous fan theories about how the Full Moon Fever track might hint at GTA 6’s storyline and characters. Fans will undoubtedly dissect “Hot Together” just as closely as we await the game’s launch next year.
