This sets off a side story leading you to the islands east of Madlantis. Here, you'll face a formidable enemy fleet of Devil Flag pirates, much stronger than any you've encountered before. Focus your attacks on the boss ship to board it and continue the fight. Upon defeating the Devil Flags, you'll secure the Dark God’s Violin, immediately getting the chance to unleash it in a thrilling 100-enemy brawl on the island.
After the brawl, a cutscene introduces you to the leaders of the massive fleet: Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus, who challenge you to take them on. While not required for the main storyline, defeating these formidable foes is crucial if you're aiming to collect all the dark instruments in *Pirate Yakuza*.
Following your victory over the initial boss ship and the ensuing 100-enemy brawl, you'll notice special Devil Flag markers scattered across the seas of *Pirate Yakuza*. Defeating these ships will earn you Devil Flags, and you'll need to collect 70 to unlock the next instrument. Engage any Devil Flag ships or treasure islands you come across to quickly gather these flags.
Once you've amassed 70 flags, Atali Island will become accessible on your map. Prepare a robust landing party, as you'll face multiple waves of attackers before reaching the treasure chest containing the Dark God’s Ocarina. Defeat Devil Flag Captain Yakuza to claim it as your own.

After vanquishing Captain Yakuza, new objectives unfold, leading you to an island where the Pharoh Stone is supposedly hidden. However, it turns out to be a trap, triggering another 100-enemy fight. Use this opportunity to test your newly acquired Dark God’s Ocarina against the mob.
You'll then learn that Zeus is headed to Flame Island. Before embarking on this challenging journey, ensure your crew has at least a three-star ranking and 130 Devil Flags. Sail to the Flame Entrance Lighthouse, which triggers a cutscene and opens up four treasure islands: Sunset, Heatwave, Welldone, and Scorching Heat. Remember, these islands prohibit the use of health items during battles, so upgrade Goro and his landing crew for success.
After conquering the treasure islands, prepare for another fleet battle, focusing solely on the boss ship. After boarding and defeating the first mate, you can finally land on Flame Island with Jason, Masaru, Minami, and Saejima. Engage in small battles leading up to the confrontation with Captain Ronin. Utilize your dark instruments to defeat him and claim the Dark God of the Earth’s Guitar from the treasure chest.
The Dark God’s Saxophone is the final dark instrument to secure in *Pirate Yakuza*, requiring a Pirate Rank Four. Achieve this rank by completing main story missions, recruiting new crew members, and engaging in mini-games and side quests. You'll also need 220 Devil Flags.
Navigate to the Frost Entrance Lighthouse to trigger a cutscene and engage the Devil Flag fleet blocking the path to Frost Island. Conquer four additional islands (Snowview, Coldwave, Icicle Island, and Glacial) to collect more Devil Flags. After defeating Captain Shinobi’s First Fleet, land on Frost Island and navigate through a series of battles, culminating in a cave and a recovery area.
The final boss fight on Frost Island pits you against Captain Shinobi. Overcome his challenge to trigger a cutscene where Zeus takes Misaki hostage, concluding the level with Goro obtaining the Dark God’s Saxophone. Although a subsequent battle against Zeus awaits, it's not necessary for collecting all the dark instruments, though it's the ultimate test of your prowess.
