Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Is a 4v4 Multiplayer, Now in Open Beta on Android

In India, playing cricket in a tight alley, known as a 'gully,' is often considered more enjoyable than playing on a traditional field. Capturing this unique experience, an indie Indian studio, 5th Ocean Studios, has released their latest cricket game, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, into Open Beta on Android.

Not Your Typical Cricket Simulation

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket is a groundbreaking 4v4 multiplayer game set in the heart of Indian gullies—narrow alleys characteristic of Indian neighborhoods. This innovative title marks the first-ever 4v4 street cricket game, featuring rooftop catches, scooters as obstacles, and even nosy uncles scolding players for breaking windows. Adding to the excitement, the game also supports 1v1 matches.

Players can execute power moves and communicate with their gang via voice chat, engage in sledging, drop emojis during matches, and employ some cheeky tactics. The game's settings authentically replicate Indian neighborhoods, complete with ongoing activities around you. You'll encounter broken stumps, makeshift pitches, and unpredictable bounces off uneven walls.

Additionally, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket offers extensive customization options, allowing players to assemble their gang, adorn them with quirky outfits, and unlock various skins.

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Enters Open Beta

Currently in Open Beta, 5th Ocean Studios is set to enhance Gully Gangs: Street Cricket with a range of updates, including new street maps, fresh outfits, regular events, clan wars, and an esports mode in the future. The game will also feature leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and competitive gang vs. gang matchups.

Available now on Android, the studio plans to expand to iOS and Steam platforms. Full controller support and cross-platform features are being developed. If you're eager to dive into this unique cricket experience, you can download Gully Gangs: Street Cricket from the Google Play Store.
