Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8: A Deep Dive into New Features and Updates
Hearthstone's Season 8 has arrived, bringing exciting changes to Battlegrounds! This update introduces new Trinkets, heroes, minions, and spells, alongside some much-needed adjustments for seasoned players. Let's explore the highlights.
The New Power-Ups: Trinkets
The Perils in Paradise update paves the way for Season 8's core mechanic: Trinkets. A total of 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets are available, with the possibility of obtaining duplicates. These powerful upgrades are offered on turns 6 and 9, presenting four choices each time. Importantly, Trinkets are tailored to your chosen hero and your current board composition, ensuring synergy regardless of your strategy (Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, etc.).
Meet Marin the Manager: The New Hero
Season 8 introduces Marin the Manager, a hero who provides a significant advantage. Marin grants you an extra Trinket a turn earlier than usual, giving you a strategic edge from the outset. See Marin in action!
Roster Changes and New Additions
This season sees a significant refresh of the minion pool. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 fan favorites are returning, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.

The Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event
From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete the Event Quests to earn a total of 14 packs, including rewards from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
