Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, and a host of exciting additions.
Reign Solaris: A Dual-Form Powerhouse
Durandal's latest battlesuit is an IMG-type Physical DMG dealer with two distinct modes. In Rampager mode, she unleashes devastating javelin attacks. Switching to Skyrider mode, she utilizes a hoverboard for lightning-fast combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, followed by a powerful javelin strike.
New Gear and Stigmata
Reign Solaris's power is amplified with the Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These unlock enhanced QTEs and additional javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, depicts Durandal's parallel universe adventures, showcasing diverse activities like soccer, music, and skateboarding.

Main Story Expansion and New Events
Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, continues the Ten Shus War narrative on Mars, exploring Coralie's fate and a mysterious connection to Helia.
A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal as Cube-ianka, offers rewards including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event features comedic encounters with familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, alongside Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss battle involving dodging drumsticks and commanding followers, culminating in rewards such as Emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
