inZOI System Requirements Show the Price of Higher Quality Graphics

inZOI, developed by Krafton, demands robust system specifications to deliver its high-quality graphics and immersive gameplay. On March 12, 2025, Krafton unveiled the game's system requirements and optimal settings, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High. Dive in to understand what you need to run inZOI smoothly and the visual differences across hardware levels.

RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

Krafton has set the bar high for inZOI, requiring at least an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 for graphics, paired with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This is a significant jump from the system requirements of EA's Sims 4, which only needs an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justifies this by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly."

For those aiming for the recommended settings, an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800, along with an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, is necessary. The highest settings demand an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 for graphics and an Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for the CPU.

Given the impressive visuals showcased in inZOI's trailers, which leverage Unreal Engine 5, these requirements are not surprising. Although Krafton has plans to bring the game to PS5 and Xbox, significant optimization will be needed to meet console standards, as inZOI's current PC requirements are quite demanding.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton has released a video comparing the graphics quality across the different system specifications. The video highlights variations in lighting, textures, and color, with the highest PC specs offering the most visually stunning experience.

While these high system requirements might limit inZOI's initial player base compared to competitors like Sims 4, Krafton is committed to broadening accessibility. They plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance and are working on optimizations to lower system requirements without sacrificing quality.

inZOI will be showcased in a live stream on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on the game's official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will cover early access pricing, DLC, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan questions.

inZOI will launch in early access on Steam on March 28, and will also be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The full release date remains undisclosed. Stay updated with the latest on inZOI by visiting our dedicated page.
