Pokemon GO is packed with exciting events throughout the month, designed to keep players engaged and offer them a chance to earn more rewards and encounter new Pokemon. These events not only help players level up but also boost the CP of their Pokemon. Special occasions like Community Days allow players to teach their Pokemon unique moves that are only available during these limited-time events.

As we kick off the new year, January is brimming with a variety of events including Spotlight Hours, Max Mondays, Community Days, and more. Here's a comprehensive guide to all the Pokemon GO events happening this month.

All January Raids, Community Days, and Events

During these events, players can earn more berries, items, and even encounter special Pokemon. To maximize your experience, make sure you have enough berries and Pokeballs on hand. Here's everything you need to know about January's events.

Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours

  • January 7: Voltorb & Hisuian Voltorb – 2x Catch Stardust
  • January 14: Roselia – 2x Catch XP
  • January 21: Paldean Wooper – 2x Catch Candy
  • January 28: Yungoos – 2x Transfer Candy

These Spotlight Hours occur every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time, lasting just one hour. Make sure to participate weekly to catch Shiny Pokemon and strengthen your team.

Pokemon GO Raid Hours

  • January 1: Giratina Altered Forme
  • January 8: Palkia
  • January 15: Palkia
  • January 22: Deoxys Attack Forme & Deoxys Defense Forme
  • January 29: Dialga
  • February 5: Dialga

Raid Hours take place every Wednesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. During these hours, players can battle and attempt to catch the featured Pokemon at Gyms. These are all the exciting events lined up for January in Pokemon GO.
