*Echoes of Wisdom* is likely the final Zelda title for the original Nintendo Switch. With the Nintendo Switch 2 on the horizon, and a Nintendo Direct scheduled for early April, we anticipate more details soon. The new console is expected to be largely backwards compatible, ensuring that the fantastic Zelda games from the current generation will continue to be playable.
Moreover, Nintendo has exciting plans to bring Hyrule to the big screen with a live-action *Legend of Zelda* movie directed by Wes Ball, known for *Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes*. Ball aims for a more "grounded" adaptation, drawing inspiration from the works of Hayao Miyazaki.
