Aspyr has unveiled a surprising addition to the upcoming re-release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles: the infamous Jar Jar Binks is now a playable character! A new trailer showcases Jar Jar wielding a large staff and delivering his signature brand of chaotic energy.
The 2000 original Jedi Power Battles featured beloved characters and locations from Episode I: The Phantom Menace. This updated version aims to capture that nostalgia while adding exciting new content. Along with customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support, players will enjoy a significantly expanded roster of playable characters.
The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of Jar Jar Binks in action, battling enemies with his staff. While some fans may have fantasized about a Darth Jar Jar-esque red lightsaber wielding character, this version stays true to Jar Jar's signature clumsy style and humorous voice lines.
