It's been nearly a year since we first shared news of a new Puella Magi Madoka Magica game in development, and now, the wait is almost over. Madoka Magica Magia Exedra is ready for pre-download on Android devices. Crafted by the collaborative efforts of Aniplex, Pokelabo, and f4samurai, this eagerly anticipated game is set to launch in numerous countries including Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the UK, and the US.
This free-to-play RPG has already surpassed one million pre-registrations, showcasing the immense excitement surrounding its release. The pre-download window opened today, March 25th, with early access kicking off tomorrow, March 26th at 5 PM. To build anticipation, a trailer was recently released, featuring a stunning opening animation and theme song. If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it right here:
While Madoka Magica Magia Exedra is entering early access on Android, not all features will be immediately available. The trader and player match functionalities will be introduced later. However, rest assured that the core gameplay and main story are fully accessible, and any progress made during early access will seamlessly carry over to the official release.
With the game achieving a milestone of one million pre-registrations, special in-game rewards are waiting for all players. Upon downloading the game, you'll receive a 5-star Kioku featuring Madoka Kaname, along with numerous Portraits, Fate Weave draws, and a Starter Pack. To celebrate the launch, several events are planned, including a login bonus and daily free Fate Weave pulls. Make sure to pre-download Madoka Magica Magia Exedra from the Google Play Store to take advantage of these offers.
Magia Exedra is not just another iteration of past Madoka Magica games. It introduces a fresh narrative set in a mysterious location known as the Lighthouse. Here, the protagonist, who has lost everything, delves into the memories of magical girls in an attempt to recover her own. Players can explore Witch Labyrinths, relive pivotal moments from the anime and Magia Record, and assemble a team of magical girls with unique roles and elemental strengths, all within a turn-based battle system.
