Hangar 13 took to their Twitter account on December 10 to announce that Mafia: The Old Country will have its full world premiere at the upcoming TGA, or The Game Awards. This eagerly awaited event is set to take place at the Peacock Theater in California at 7:30 pm EST or 4:30 pm PT.
It's now confirmed that Hangar 13 will share fresh details about the game during TGA 2024. The game's official trailer, which was released in August 2024, hinted that more information would be forthcoming in December. However, the Twitter announcement kept the mystery alive by not specifying any particular story content or gameplay features that will be showcased at the event.
Other upcoming games will also be highlighted at TGA 2024. Civilization VII will feature a live orchestral performance of its main theme, adding a unique musical flair to the event. Meanwhile, fans of Borderlands can look forward to a new trailer for Borderlands 4.
