The post, dated March 12, 2025, showcased an image of a grand mansion, visibly damaged with flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and fires raging from within.
The caption of the post, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" accompanied by a "#Zombies" hashtag, hints at the involvement of Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a fan-favorite character who played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. As Black Ops 6 is a remake of this title, it's no surprise to see Eddie making a return.
Eagle-eyed fans have identified the map as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, as indicated by the teaser image. This timeline aligns well with the narrative of the last Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuation of the storyline.
