Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a chilling Halloween update, adding spooky new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
A Spooktacular Halloween Event
This year's Halloween event features two terrifying new champions: Scream, the vengeful symbiote, and Jack O' Lantern, a villain with a penchant for transforming victims into unsettling jack-o'-lanterns. These additions amplify the thrills of the "House of Horrors" event, where players join Jessica Jones to solve a dark mystery within a nightmarish carnival.
Alongside the main event, "Jack's Bounty-full Hunt" offers a gladiator-style combat side quest with weekly challenges and branching paths. This event runs from October 9th to November 6th.
Celebrating a Decade of Combat
The Halloween festivities coincide with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is marking the occasion with ten major reveals, including character reworks for Medusa and Purgatory. The "Deadpool's Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza" introduces an Alliance Super Season with collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the "Venom: Last Dance" event (October 21st to November 15th), also forms part of the anniversary celebrations. The Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is currently underway, lasting until October 30th, and features new mechanics focused on buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant upgrade is on its way: a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching on November 4th, will dramatically enhance the game's fluidity.
