Marvel Rivals Reveals New Skin for Mister Fantastic

Marvel Rivals Unveils "The Maker," a New Mister Fantastic Skin

A new skin for Mister Fantastic, dubbed "The Maker," has been showcased in a recent Marvel Rivals clip. This exciting addition will debut alongside the character himself on January 10th, coinciding with the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.

The Maker skin represents an alternate, villainous Reed Richards from the Ultimate universe. His appearance reflects a darker transformation, featuring a mask concealing most of his face – a consequence of injuries sustained in a battle with the Human Torch. This sinister aesthetic is mirrored by a villainous skin for Invisible Woman, named Malice, also arriving in Season 1.

The Maker skin boasts a striking black and gray design, accented by a glowing blue circle on the chest and back. A slate-colored mask, incorporating a blue visor, further enhances the character's menacing look. Gameplay footage highlights the suit's dynamic properties, showcasing its stretching and growth capabilities during ability use.

Beyond The Maker, Marvel Rivals' Season 1 update promises a wealth of new content. This includes:

  • A new hero: Mister Fantastic joins the roster.
  • Doom Match: A new 8-12 player free-for-all game mode where the top 50% win.
  • New maps: Expect a darkened, ominous version of New York City.
  • Character balance adjustments: Numerous heroes will receive buffs and nerfs.
  • Potential future skins: Data miners have uncovered hints of upcoming skins for characters like Spider-Man (a Lunar New Year skin), Hulk, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange. Their release timing remains unconfirmed.

With such a substantial update on the horizon, anticipation is high among Marvel Rivals players for the arrival of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls on January 10th at 1 AM PST.
